She has been seen in our Magazine section several times because of her Lomographs and her blooming story in our Community. But this time around, it’s time to watch her LomoKino movies!

“Modern yet classic,” that’s how she describes the clacking LomoKino she owns. A sweet description for something that looks so new but then again, can produce 60s like film movies! Well, I guess it’s time for us to know more about Malaysian Lomographer yokekei LomoKino experience! Read below.

Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?

Hi, I am Yuki from Malaysia. I work as an Industrial Designer. Of course, many of you already know that I like photography. Well, I have many interests actually — cooking, traveling, writing/blogging, and day dreaming.

Describe the LomoKino in five words.

Adorable, lightweight, modern yet classic.

How did you like shooting with the LomoKino?

Well, I plan the storyline before shooting. Then, while filming, I super enjoy the “clack clack clack” sound during the advancing of the film. Lastly, editing frames with captions and pairing it with your ideal background music is just awesome.

What or who has inspired you to purchase and use the LomoKino?

First sight of the LomoKino and I felt surprised and impressed of the movie maker!

Any funny or strange encounters you’ve had with it?

To be honest, I do not use the viewfinder during shooting so I just capture the subject by estimation.

Yuki’s first LomoKino film entitled Goodbye.

If you could shoot any person alive or dead (or imaginary) with your LomoKino, who would it be and why?

Lomographers with their favourite camera from all around the world. I am curious on how many happy faces can be capturedusing one roll of film.

Kindly share to us any LomoKino movie you love the most.

I am a fan of this cute little girl, rosebb and her movie:

Any future plans with your LomoKino? More shoots or a full-length film perhaps?

A movie called Travelogue by LomoKino. I really hope I can manage to do it this year.

Your advice to future LomoKino users.

Shoot under a sunny day! It is always the best choice.
